 Samuel Z. Ginsberg, CPA

Samuel Z. Ginsberg obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. While at Babson, he was involved in the school’s renowned entrepreneurial studies program. He is certified and licensed in the State of New York, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Ginsberg has extensive audit and accounting experience in the manufacturing, import, entertainment, and healthcare sectors, as well as a strong tax background in servicing high net worth clients in the entertainment and financial services industries. He has created and produced award winning television programming.  He has created, packaged and negotiated numerous deals with most of the major entertainment companies on behalf of his clients. He also maintains extensive ties to the entertainment, recording, producing, and publishing communities.

 

Daniel J. Ginsberg, CPA, MST

Daniel J. Ginsberg obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has also earned a Masters in Science in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey. He is certified and licensed in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Tax Section of the AICPA.

Mr. Ginsberg spent the first seven years of his career with KMPG LLP, where he obtained the position Manager in the Manufacturing, Retail, and Distribution practice. He has extensive experience in servicing international clients in various manufacturing and distribution industries, and he has audit experience in the following types of businesses: retail, precious metals refining, trading and fabrication, garment manufacturing and distribution, trading (import/export) companies, chemical manufacturing and distribution, high tech, construction and engineering, and food processing. Mr. Ginsberg also has substantial experience in merger and acquisitions projects. He has participated in consulting projects related to information technology as well as organization structuring. As an intern with KMG Main Hurdman, he gained experience in tax return preparation and general accounting services. While with KMPG LLP, he led several training seminars related to financial accounting and auditing.

During his time with KMPG LLP, Mr. Ginsberg was Engagement Manager on the following clients: ITOCHU International, Inc., DAC Food Industries, Inc. (subsidiary of Allied Lyons. Plc.), Grosvenor Marketing, Ltd. (subsidiary of Associated British Foods Plc.), Venezuela Supply Division, AAA Transportation Group, Soros Associates and Snamprogetti USA (subsidiaries of ENI Spa), Riso, Inc., Insilco Corporation, Degussa Corporation, and EM Industries, Inc. (subsidiary of E. Merck AG).

 

Harvey Ginsberg, CPA (Deceased)

Harvey Ginsberg obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from New York University’s School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance. He is certified and licensed in the State of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Personal Financial Planning Committee of the AICPA.

Harvey Ginsberg & Co. P.C. is the successor company to Leo Werblin & Co., which was established more than sixty years ago. Mr. Ginsberg has a long and varied connection with the entertainment industry, from recording to television production, to the representation of both individual artists and groups. He has a great deal of experience serving the specialized needs of closely held businesses – needs which go far beyond the routine accounting and auditing functions. He works closely with these clients to manage the growth of their businesses, to evaluate their operations, and help them plan for the future. He has provided services for many years in the areas of auditing, accounting, management advisory, tax compliance, and tax planning. He also has extensive experience in the area of personal financial planning and investment management oversight. He maintains strong ties to the banking and investment community.
